This role sits within the Strategic Planning & Governance function and plays a critical role in translating strategy into structured, executable plans. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders and the Head of Strategic Planning & Governance to deliver high‑quality analysis, planning artefacts, and decision support that enables effective prioritisation and mobilisation of initiatives.
About the role
As the Strategic Solutions Analyst , you will provide analytical, planning and delivery support across strategic initiatives within COTO. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone from a consulting, strategy, PMO or business analysis background who enjoys working at pace, solving ambiguous problems, and presenting clear, well‑structured insights to senior audiences.
What you’ll be doing day to day
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver analysis, planning support and structured inputs into strategic initiatives
- Develop high‑quality planning artefacts including strategy decks, roadmaps, initiative summaries and briefing papers
- Conduct structured business analysis such as requirements gathering, process mapping, capability gap analysis and data consolidation
- Support prioritisation and sequencing decisions by preparing analysis that clarifies dependencies, risks and trade‑offs
- Coordinate and support strategy, design and solution‑exploration workshops, capturing outcomes and actions
- Maintain planning artefacts, registers, trackers and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy and visibility
- Assist with light solution design by synthesising stakeholder input into clear conceptual models, flows or diagrams
- Support the COTO operating rhythm through preparation of presentations, data and executive‑ready materials
What we’re looking for
Required experience and attributes
- Background in consulting, PMO, transformation or similar delivery support roles
- Proven ability to work with senior‑level stakeholders , influencing and communicating with clarity and confidence
- Strong problem‑solving capability, with the ability to structure ambiguous information into clear outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation and executive‑level documentation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Miro/Visio , and structured planning registers
Desirable
- Exposure to strategy, planning, portfolio or transformation environments
- Experience in financial services, technology or operational contexts
- Familiarity with change delivery, project methodologies or benefits tracking
No prior superannuation experience is required — your specialist skillset and consulting mindset are what matter most.
