About the role

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team on a 14/14 days and nights roster at Roy Hill Mine.

Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical Maintenance, you will lead a team of Electricians and Coordinators to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance outcomes across our fixed plant. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, strengthening team culture, and ensuring operational excellence.

Duties

  • Provide visible, supportive leadership to the maintenance team, reinforcing a risk-based behavioural safety culture
  • Lead and mentor maintenance personnel and subcontractors, creating a positive and accountable team environment
  • Supervise the team to deliver efficient, high-quality work practices with a focus on reliability
  • Set clear performance expectations, recognise individual and team achievements, and conduct timely, constructive performance reviews
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical maintenance activities with operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs
  • Assist with shutdown planning, coordination, and execution
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies

Skills and Experience

  • Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills with complex equipment
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance
  • Knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations
  • Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
  • Current WA Manual C class drivers licence required
  • Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence required
  • Australian recognised Trade qualification or electrical engineering degree required
  • Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 appointment required
