This is a remote position.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and prepare financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including creating invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Process payroll, including calculating and processing employee wages, superannuation contributions, and other related tasks.
  • Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts for the business.
  • Ensure the business is compliant with tax laws, including preparing and submitting tax returns.

Requirements

  • Must have a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping such as a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or higher.
  • Several years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial records and preparing financial reports.
  • Experience in using MYOB bookkeeping software is required.
  • Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to be able to interpret financial data and provide insights to clients or employers.
