We are currently seeking a talented Designer/Architect to join our Education team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful education projects within a collaborative, design-led studio environment.
In This Role, You Will
- Contribute to design development, detailed design and documentation across all project stages
- Prepare architectural documentation, renderings, presentations and visual material that meet project objectives, quality standards and project milestones
- Provide technical input and recommend practical, well-considered design solutions throughout the design and delivery process
- Work closely with senior team members, clients, consultants, contractors and technical specialists to support smooth project delivery
- Assist with quality control and ensure all project documentation aligns with Architectus standards, processes and filing protocols
- Apply knowledge of architectural principles, construction methods, codes and regulations to support high-quality project outcomes
- Attend site visits and contribute to resolving on-site design and technical issues
- Support and guide junior team members with technical advice and collaborative input as required
About You
You are a capable and motivated Designer/Architect who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is looking to continue developing your design and technical capability within the Education sector.
You’ll Bring
- Australian architectural registration, or eligibility/willingness to work toward registration where applicable
- Experience contributing to projects through design and documentation stages, ideally within the Education sector
- Strong design thinking paired with well-developed technical and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of building materials, construction methods, Australian codes and regulations
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage delegated tasks and deadlines with limited supervision
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Commitment to ongoing learning, professional development and contributing positively to studio culture
You may be registered, working toward registration, or bringing equivalent experience, we're open to candidates at different stages who have the right skills, attitude and cultural fit.
