Wilmar is looking for someone who is keen to learn various stations in the Sugar Milling process including Pan Boiler, Evaporator and Fugals at Plane Creek Mill. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career with a leading sugar processing factory that values safety, teamwork, and innovation.

As a Pan Boiler, you'll be responsible for the production of high-grade sugar by monitoring liquor, molasses, magma, and massecuite stocks, and boiling at a rate so as not to limit the rest of the factory whilst still maintaining maximum sucrose recovery. This station requires the operator to control the station in a way that avoids unnecessary reductions in factory throughput and produces quality material.

This position works in conjunction with the Assistant Pan Boiler to ensure efficient and safe operation of this station.

As an Evaporator Operator you will be responsible for operating the Juice Circuit encompassing Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators, and associated equipment. This position works in conjunction with other members of the Shift Team to ensure efficient factory performance and reports to the Operations Superintendent.

As a Fugal Operator, you will be working as part of our sugar production team, where you'll transform raw ingredients into raw sugar while having a blast! You'll work alongside great colleagues, tackle exciting challenges, and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with teamwork.

This position is fixed term and involves continuous shift work, weekend work and some overtime in the Crushing Season (June - Dec).

Your Winning Combination

If you have previous experience that will be an advantage but, with your excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety, and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you! Make sure to highlight any additional skills or tickets you have in your application. It will be highly desirable if you have:

• Working at heights
• Confined Space Entry
• Maintenance skills including any trade qualifications and High-Risk Work License in Dogging, Rigging and Scaffolding

The successful applicant will also be required to undertake further training to complete the appropriate competencies required for the role.
