Grader Operator

Mackay Regional Council requires an Experienced Grader Operator to join the Capital Works Field Services team at the Paget Depot. You will carry out grader, plant, truck operation and labouring duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads and drainage assets, or other associated civil infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence
Current Certificate of Competency to operator a motor grader > 35kw with demonstrated relevant experience in the operation of grader and in particular, final trim operation, including experience with Trimble (or other computer controlled software) guided operation.
Demonstrated relevant experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
Experience in providing instructions to work crews.

Base annual salary from $69,524 to $74,242 plus allowances as applicable
Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply)
