Financial Services Customer Service

A leading Financial Services company is seeking customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to join a high-performing contact centre team in Sydney CBD. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates confidently, and is keen to build a long-term career in financial services.

Contract: 12-month temporary with potential to transition to permanent

Pay rate: $37.08 per hour + super

Hours: Full-time, rotating roster between 8:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday

The roleYou’ll be the first point of contact for customers calling in with enquiries about retirement savings and related products. You’ll listen, ask the right questions, provide clear explanations, and ensure each customer feels supported and understood. You’ll also learn internal systems and resources to confidently resolve a wide range of queries.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy and efficiency.
  • Explain information in a clear, easy-to-understand way (tailored to each customer)
  • Use internal systems and knowledge tools to locate accurate information quickly
  • Identify complex matters and escalate appropriately for investigation and resolution

About you

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Confident learning new systems and retaining product/process knowledge over time
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or contact centres is helpful but not essential—attitude and capability matter most.

This role is based in a Sydney CBD office. For the first 6 months, the expectation is full-time in office to support training and development. After this period, you may be eligible to work up to 2 days per week from home.
