Our client is an independent advisory platform with over 25 years of experience within the Aus market. They are seeking a commercially astute Corporate Advisory Director to help drive continued growth and oversee deal execution. The platform benefits from strong networks and a reputation for high‑quality, independent advice, offering unique exposure across M&A, capital management, corporate strategy and special situations.
This role will suit an experienced advisory professional who thrives in an environment defined by responsibility, autonomy, and meaningful client interaction. Reporting into the group's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will manage a team of Analyst/Associates while serving as a key point of contact for inbound client activity. The role also plays a central part in business development via both existing networks and relationship building across the market.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, transaction services/deals or broader corporate finance
- Strong exposure across a range of transaction types, including M&A and capital-related situations
- Proven ability to lead and develop Analyst/Associate teams
- Highly commercial and execution‑focused, with strong technical and analytical capability
- Confident managing senior client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Demonstrated success in business development, leveraging both existing networks and new relationship building
- Comfortable operating with high autonomy and responsibility in an independent advisory environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision makers and oversee best‑in‑class work product
