What you’ll do
- Develop, implement, and support scalable and reliable data pipelines and architectures on the Azure platform, including the use of CI/CD processes.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, manage metadata and data cataloguing processes, and enhance actuarial data marts within the data warehouse.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify and implement system improvements, optimise data storage and processing, and ensure performance and cost efficiency.
- Maintain procedures, documentation, and controls to support information governance, data integrity, privacy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor daily data quality and processes, resolve operational issues, and provide level 3 support for incidents within agreed service levels and standards
What we are looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, e.g., Bachelor’s degree in a Management Information Systems, Information Technology/Computer Sciences field
- Relevant intermediate/advanced Azure Data certifications
- Strong experience with Azure Data Warehouse.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for setting up data warehouses on Azure.
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with technologies such as Power Platform, Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Power BI.
- Experience with modern data pipelines, data streaming, and using real time analytics tools.
