The role

As a Team Member Support Services Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly across a diverse portfolio including Libraries, Meals on Wheels, the Arts Centre, and Community Planning and Development teams.

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll coordinate communications, manage logistics, support projects and events, and help deliver high-quality services that positively impact the community. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining processes and using technology to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and service delivery.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide proactive administrative and operational support across Libraries, Meals on Wheels, the Arts Centre, and Community Planning teams
  • Coordinate communications, schedules, logistics, and day-to-day team activities to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support the planning and delivery of community projects, programs, and events
  • Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation while assisting with reporting and correspondence
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining processes and leveraging technology
  • Work collaboratively across diverse teams to enhance efficiency, communication, and community outcomes

You will have

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of records management and administrative systems
  • Experience providing administrative support in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
  • Experience with financial administration tasks (e.g., processing invoices, purchase orders)
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and databases

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $66,379 (Grade C, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
