We're looking for a Credit Manager to lead a high‑performing operational team and support the Head of Credit Operations in delivering strong customer and business outcomes. This role is key to achieving NGM’s strategic objectives. You'll ensure home loan applications are assessed in line with policy, risk frameworks, and credit guidelines, while overseeing and improving workflows to support efficient and compliant processin

As the home‑lending subject matter expert, you’ll hold a higher delegated lending authority and use it daily to approve applications and guide decision‑making across the team. You’ll develop and coach your team, building capability and driving performance to ensure consistent, high‑quality outcomes for our custome

What will your key responsibilities incl

  • ude? Lead day‑to‑day Credit operations to ensure timely, accurate and compliant processing of home loan applica

What are we looki

  • ng for? Proven previous experience as a Credit Manager, with responsibility for credit assessment, decision‑making, and adherence to lending policies and regulatory requi
  • rements.At least 5 years’ ex perience with a Delegated Lending Authority for mortgage credit p
  • roducts.Proven exp erience leadin g a team and driving outcomes across people, customer outcomes, projects or key init
  • iatives.Strong understan ding of regulatory and compliance requ irements, including NCCP, COBA Code of Practice, RG 209 and relevant APRA prudential st
  • andards.Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Finance, Banking or Management; tertiary qualificati ons are highly r
  • egarded.Experience m anaging credit workflows, processes and file quality in a fast‑paced envi
  • ronment.Delivers high‑quality, accurate work and confidently assesses complex info
