Dog Nanny: Pet Care Professional

We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and enthusiastic dog lover to join our network.

Position: Dog Nanny (Independent Contractor)

Location: inner east and eastern suburbs.

As a Dog Nanny, you will provide walking services to our clients’ dogs, ensuring they receive the exercise, socialisation, and attention they need. This role requires excellent time management, a love for animals, and the ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.

Responsibilities:

Pick up a group of dogs according to the schedule provided by the company or client. Take them to a park to provide exercise and enrichment for an hour. Monitor behaviour, manage the pack, take photos. Then return the dogs home.
Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their pets' needs and routines.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs during walks.
Pick up and dispose of dog waste during walks.
Report any concerning behaviors or health issues to pet owners and the company.
Communicate regularly with pet owners to provide updates on their pets.
Adhere to all local laws and regulations regarding dog walking.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.
Professional experience with dogs is essential
Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language.
Physical ability to walk and control dogs of various sizes and strength levels.
Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of the dogs.
Own a smartphone for communication and scheduling purposes.
Valid driver’s license and reliable large vehicle.
Must be willing to undergo a background check.
