Field Service Plumber (WC0022)

Join Council’s Field Services team and play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable water and wastewater services to our community. As a Field Services Plumber, you’ll deliver water and sewer related projects as well as perform maintenance, repairs and installations across Council’s water and sewerage networks, contributing to public health, environmental protection and customer satisfaction.

About The Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

• Undertake plumbing, maintenance and construction works on water and wastewater infrastructure
• Respond to service requests, breakdowns and emergency call-outs
• Install, repair and maintain water meters, valves, hydrants and sewer connections
• Operate plant, tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete work records, reports and job documentation accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members and contractors to meet service standards

About You

You are a qualified and safety-focused plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service. You will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Plumber and Drainer (or equivalent)
• Current Queensland Plumbing and Drainage licence
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Current C Class driver licence (HR desirable)
• Ability to participate in an on-call roster
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to workplace safety

• Stream C Building Trade Base annual salary of $ 75,596 plus allowances as applicable
