Your new role

The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to act as a trusted extension of the program leadership team, owning and driving day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of Cybersecurity initiatives.

Accountabilities

Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Cybersecurity projects within a run/delivery function.
Drive day-to-day project execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
Coordinate and work closely with technical teams, engineers, and external vendors.
Maintain visibility of delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
Facilitate stand-ups, working sessions, and delivery forums (no SteerCo ownership required)
Ensure alignment between technical execution and program-level objectives
Act as the key delivery lead, escalating risks and blockers appropriately.
Focused purely on delivery execution (not governance-heavy)
No responsibility for SteerCo, budget management, or government reporting – managed at program level
Operates as a senior delivery driver and right-hand to the Program Lead

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a mid-to-senior level Project Manager in complex delivery environments
Strong track record of delivering technology or Cybersecurity projects
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors
Ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
Exposure to Cybersecurity projects or programs
Background in Applications and/or Infrastructure delivery
Prior experience in an engineering or technical role (highly regarded)
Experience within the Utilities sector (nice to have).
A hands-on, delivery-first Project Manager who can “own the engine room”
Comfortable operating without heavy governance structures
Strong communicator who can translate between technical teams and program leadership
Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and highly accountable
