About the Opportunity
The Associate Director Virtual Clinical Care Centre (VCCC) is responsible for the strategic operations of the VCCC environment. The position oversees the program, and evaluation activities required for the successful implementation of existing and new models of service delivery with a strong focus on aligning with and adding value to the health system strategy.
The Associate Director VCCC advises Senior Executives of NSW Ambulance of achievements against projected goals, outcomes, realised benefits and overall performance of the Virtual Clinical Care Centre service delivery model including the Clinical Response Grid. The position also recommends and implements policy and practice changes based on evidence and analysis. The position holder works directly and collaboratively with the Associate Director Medical Services & Research to ensure the realisation of clinical impact, safe patient centred clinical practice and quality objectives are achieved. The role will have key deliverables associated with the implementation of the NSW Ambulance Strategic Plan.

About You
Demonstrated extensive knowledge and applied leadership in championing governance and quality in the application of Ambulance Service clinical policies, practices and protocols.
Demonstrated experience in the use of statistical information and key performance indicators to problem solve, make decisions and continuously improve performance in complex systems that deliver pre-hospital care to the community.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence and interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills that cultivate positive and empowering relationships

Employee’s currently undertaking an Extended Care Paramedic or Intensive Care Paramedic consolidation periods are eligible to apply however will need to complete all training and return of service obligations before accepting any relief/acting opportunities.
Employee’s currently undertaking a Special Operations Team (SOT) consolidation period are not eligible to apply for positions other than SOT positions. This includes positions offered via merit selection, transfer lists or later transfer mechanism, expressions of interest or secondments.

Salary Range: $175,250 per annum - $209,681 per annum (Ops Mgr Lvl 4)
