New ly created position to join a National Sales Team with an established & imaginative Co. Based in Perth with a mix of onsite & remote.

From proof of concept to product engineering led Hardware solutions - this is one of those great stories of a hi-tech electronic & engineering Co. delivering in demand embedded technology solutions for tomorrow today.

The opportunity

As the ' New' Business Development Manager; this role will target new 'logos' across the WA Industrial and Mining sectors. Delivering technically challenging engineering led hardware sales environment across electrical / electronic, embedded & IoT emerging & established markets. A classic 'hunter' role.

Delivering both short and long-cycle industrial opportunities, and technical solutions to new market opportunities are broad, across industrial, transportation, medical, retail, government, mining & energy to name a few.

Take your passion for IT & Engineered technology to uncover demand, along with:

• Strategically drive early engagement with relevant buyers such as CTO's.
• New pipeline generation.
• Account management of existing clients.
• Enable team to secure new business, add-ons & growth.
• Supplier, Channel & Product Marketing relationships.
• Maintain trade show and associated industry contacts.

Once engagement commences, the team will do the rest to deliver technical solutions & positive outcomes.

About you

A Sales professional with a passion for hi-technology engineered solutions, along with:

• Self-driven sales 'hunter' comfortable working both autonomy & within a team.
• Focused and goal-oriented
• Prior experience in technology sales (possibly even IT sales) within engineering led hardware environments, such as embedded engineering systems, electrical, electronics, RF & more, highly regarded.
• Open to travel such as to Pilbara & Kalgoorlie as required.
• Articulate & business sales savvy.
