About the Role

Our Richlands, Brisbane Branch is looking for a Service Trade Assistant.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

• Support equipment receiving and dispatch operations
• Assist the equipment team in managing inventory and of equipment and attachments
• Participate in regular stocktakes of equipment and attachments to ensure inventory accuracy
• Perform daily yard duties, including moving machinery and unloading containers
• Carry out pre-delivery and rental hire inspections on Vermeer and John Deere construction and forestry equipment (training
• provided)
• Assist in the collection, delivery, and distribution of parts to Field Service Technicians when required

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Forklift ticket
• Chain of Responsibility training (highly regarded)
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Knowledge of heavy machinery industry
• Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads
• Strong customer service focus and dedicated work ethic
