About the role

As Team Lead – Fellowship Support Program (FSP), you will lead an operations team responsible for delivering a key national GP training program. Reporting to the Training Programs Lead, you will oversee program delivery, support and develop staff, and act as an escalation point for complex enquiries while ensuring a high-quality, member-centric experience.

As well as leading an operations team you will drive operational performance, lead a key portfolio area and process improvement, manage program changes in collaboration with other leaders, manage program risks, and collaborate with medical educators and stakeholders to ensure registrars progress successfully through the program.

As our Team Lead - FSP, you'll also:

Lead, mentor and develop a team, ensuring high-quality outputs and a strong team culture.

Oversee program delivery, planning, reporting and risk management across your portfolio.

Act as an escalation point for complex registrar and stakeholder enquiries.

Collaborate with medical educators and internal teams to deliver training outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and program delivery.

Manage registrar progression, compliance and key communications.

Contribute to operational planning and resource forecasting.

Lead change initiatives and ensure successful implementation of program updates.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in program or program coordination/management.

Proven ability to lead and support team members in a complex environment.

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Analytical and problem-solving capability with a focus on continuous improvement.

High level of customer service focus.

Experience working in education, training, health or member-based organisations (desirable).
