About the opportunity
You will be a valued member of the Brighton Homes Service and Warranty team and report to the Brighton Cares Manager. The key focus of this role is to deliver a smooth post-construction experience by ensuring all defects and maintenance works are managed promptly, completed to a high standard. More specifically, you will:
- Conduct inspections of new homes located across North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast
- Compiling reports on identified defects and maintenance issues in line with service and warranty standards.
- Communicate with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines
- Assist with the monitoring of Brighton maintenance team and contractor progress
- Following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed
- Support the Construction team during the on-site journey
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
- A trade background, preferably Carpentry or similar experience
- Leadership experience – managing trades and contractors
- Sound understanding of QBCC & NCC standards and tolerances
- An ability to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance works
- An ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduled across north Brisbane to Sunshine Coast and the office in Loganholme
- Work in the office: Tuesday and Thursday at Loganholme
- A full driver’s licence to operate company service vehicle
