About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Scheduler to support long-term maintenance scheduling and turnaround activities across operations facilities.

Based in Adelaide, this role will assist with the overall management of turnaround formulation, planning, execution and close-out activities. You will help ensure shutdown and turnaround work is scheduled, controlled and completed in line with agreed timeframes, safety requirements, statutory obligations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and support the overall management of turnaround formulation, planning, execution and close-out activities
  • Coordinate turnaround formulation activities, ensuring works are identified, dates are suitable and critical paths are clearly defined
  • Provide input on plant shutdown and turnaround dates and requirements in consultation with key operational groups
  • Prepare long-term shutdown schedules, including 5-year and annual shutdown schedules, for approval and stakeholder reference
  • Schedule overall turnaround execution activities to ensure work is completed to schedule and specification
  • Support safe, environmentally responsible and cost-effective shutdown delivery while meeting statutory and reliability requirements

About You

  • Proven experience in shutdown scheduling, turnaround scheduling or maintenance scheduling roles
  • Strong understanding of shutdown and turnaround formulation, planning, execution and close-out processes
  • Ability to develop long-term, annual and execution-level shutdown schedules
  • Experience identifying critical paths and supporting schedule control across complex maintenance activities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across production, operations, supply chain and maintenance teams
  • Strong focus on safe, compliant and cost-effective scheduling in process plant or similar operational environments
