About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Client Services Administrator to join our growing financial planning practice located in Parramatta CBD. This structured part-time role (3 days per week) is ideal for someone in the final stages of their studies or a recent graduate looking to begin a professional career in financial planning.
If you are close to completing, or have recently completed, a degree in commerce, finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field, this role will provide valuable hands-on experience, practical industry exposure and a strong foundation for a long-term career in financial services. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you will help deliver a warm, professional and client-focused experience while supporting our advisers with a variety of administration and coordination duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional support to clients and external stakeholders
- Assist advisers and directors with day-to-day administration and client service tasks
- Support the preparation and processing of financial planning documentation and applications
- Maintain accurate client records and data across internal systems
- Assist with client onboarding and preparation for review meetings
- Learn and work with CRM and workflow systems including Xplan (full training provided)
- Monitor shared inboxes, manage enquiries and escalate matters where required
- Support client communications and assist with compliance-related documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times
About You
You are organised, motivated and eager to learn, with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
You will ideally have:
- Near completion or recent completion of a qualification in finance, commerce, accounting, business, economics or a related discipline
- Previous experience in administration, customer service or office support (helpful but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset
- A genuine interest in building a career within financial planning
- Willingness to learn systems such as Xplan
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and bankruptcy check (essential)
