Remuneration: $38.51 - $54.94 per hour

What you'll be doing
In this role, you will provide high-quality Speech Pathology assessment and intervention to patients with communication and swallowing disorders across the continuum of care.
- Deliver evidence-based care to paediatric and adult patients
- Collaborate effectively with MDT using structured handover (ISBAR)
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting standards
- Participate in research, education and quality improvement activities
- Provide flexible care across sites, including weekends if required

Essential Criteria
- Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Registration: Eligible for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated experience in the management of adults with acquired swallowing disorders, and experience in the administration of objective swallowing assessment procedures is preferred.
2. Demonstrated experience in the management of adults with acquired communication impairments.
3. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
4. Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of Evidence Based Practice, commitment to professional development and experience in quality management or research.
6. Experience in working in both acute care and rehabilitation settings.
7. Experience in providing speech pathology services to stroke and aged care populations.
8. Current driver's license
