Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.

Landscaping and Irrigation Service Officer

Salary: $68,972.28 per annum (plus industry allowance)

Full time - Permanent

The Parks, Sport and Recreation Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaping and Irrigation Specialist to join our dedicated team.

We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in planning and prioritising work, operating mini diggers, and carrying out infrastructure installation and repair. The successful applicant will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and well-developed problem-solving skills.

Note: This position is subject to a 6 month qualifying period in accordance with the Fair Work Australia minimum employment period.
