What We're Looking For

Are you looking for a Technical Engineering career in a dynamic global business?

We’re looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer to join our team. This role partners closely with hardware design engineers to drive validation of new hardware, troubleshoot complex issues, and evaluate design changes.

About The Role

EROAD believes that every community deserves safer and more productive roads. Our hardware team works with stakeholders from all parts of the road lifecycle to produce state-of-the-art, reliable and compliant in-vehicle hardware.

In this position, you will partner with hardware design engineers to drive the validation of new hardware, efficiently troubleshoot complex issues, and evaluate design changes. You will leverage your proven background in electrical engineering and programming, maintaining a keen eye for detail.

As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Development and implementation Execute and manage eDVT and mDVT testing, based on test plans developed with hardware design engineers Ability to understand circuit schematics and hardware data sheets Board and system troubleshooting skills, and able to work with board level hardware engineers, software engineers, and mechanical engineers to troubleshoot testing Software QA of an android device with applications and Linux level automation and test frame works (automated 24-7 python scripting)

Skills And Experience

We’re looking for someone with strong technical capability and a passion for innovation. You may come from an electrical engineering background and possess skills such as:

  • Proven experience and applied knowledge of electronics design and electrical engineering is a must
  • Excellent written, and oral communication and ability to articulate problems in their most elemental form
  • Action orientated – takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm
  • Nimble learning – Actively learns via experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures to learn from
