Contract – Salesforce Technical Consultant

Your new companyHays has partnered with a large organisation within the insurance sector undertaking a significant CRM transformation.

Your new roleA key position supporting the migration from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Financial Services Cloud, joining during the discovery phase of a high-priority programme.This role blends hands-on engineering with advisory responsibility. The successful candidate will help define future-state architecture, guide best practice, and deliver development across the platform. Close collaboration with a Technical Architect, engineers, and admins will be essential to uplift capability and ensure a high-quality implementation.Ownership will span the full lifecycle, from early design through to delivery, on a time-critical programme targeted for completion by mid-next year.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong Salesforce experience, including exposure to Financial Services Cloud or similar industry cloud implementations
• Solid development capability across Apex, LWC, integrations, and data modelling
• Ability to operate in a consultative capacity, advising on best practice and guiding team direction
• Experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce programmes
• Understanding of insurance or broker-led environments is highly advantageous
• Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to influence both technical and business decisions
