Your new role

This is a hands-on, advisory role that focusses on case management of ER matters. You’ll be the first point of contact for managers seeking support on a wide range of HR issues, from performance management and policy interpretation to employee relations and workforce planning.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive HR team, working in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate HR advice to managers
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements
  • Support managers with complex employee relations issues, performance concerns, and workforce planning
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and resources

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven HR experience in a large, complex organisation, preferably within public sector or higher education
  • Proven experience managing complex Employee Relations matters
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
