We are currently seeking experienced Client Services Officers to join a busy and collaborative team within a large Queensland-based organisation operating in a regulatory and customer service environment. This opportunity will suit candidates with strong communication skills, previous contact centre or customer service experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

  • Initial 6-month contract with potential extension options
  • Part-time opportunity – 29 hours per week across weekday business hours
  • Based in Brisbane with hybrid flexibility

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for workplace health and safety legislative and licensing enquiries
  • Manage customer enquiries through effective questioning, problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Provide timely and accurate verbal advice and application status updates to customers
  • Maintain high standards of data entry, record management and information handling
  • Assist with collection, storage and retrieval of information, enquiries and reporting statistics
  • Provide support and information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow records management and quality assurance processes and guidelines
  • Contribute positively within a collaborative team environment
  • Provide support across additional Client Services functions where required

About You

  • Previous experience within a contact centre, call centre or high-volume customer service environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy across data entry and record management
  • Ability to interpret and communicate policies, legislation or regulatory requirements clearly to customers
  • Experience using information systems, databases or contact centre platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to work within rostered arrangements and meet performance requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Government, licensing, regulatory or compliance experience highly regarded
