Software Quality Services Pty Ltd is hiring on behalf of a well-known Australian university — a fantastic foot-in-the-door for an Associate Scrum Master ready to step up in a large, fast-moving agile environment.

Clayton, VIC | Hybrid | Contract until December 2026 $600/day + Superannuation(Nego)

About the Opportunity

You'll be embedded within an agile delivery squad, partnering with Product Owners to keep teams focused, unblocked, and delivering. If you're comfortable running ceremonies, living in Jira, and keeping a healthy backlog — this one's for you.

Day-to-Day, You'll Be:

• Running sprint planning, standups, retros and reviews with energy and purpose
• Keeping the backlog healthy — at least two sprints deep and clearly prioritised
• Managing sprints end-to-end in Jira, including burndown charts and metrics dashboards
• Establishing and safeguarding the squad's Ways of Working
• Tracking actions, following up on blockers, and keeping the team accountable
• Using Confluence and Jira Roadmaps to maintain visibility across stakeholders

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

• Solid grounding in Scrum or Kanban in a real delivery environment
• Confidence facilitating a room — from squad standups to senior stakeholder updates
• Intermediate to strong Jira and Confluence skills
• The ability to hold your own in a complex, matrixed organisation
• Australian working rights

University sector experience is a bonus, not a must.
