Government Relations Advisor

Are you an experienced communications or policy professional ready to make an impact at the heart of South Australian government?

We are seeking a driven Government Relations Adviser for a short-term contract with a leading South Australian organisation, playing a key role in delivering high-quality ministerial and parliamentary communications.

THE ROLE |

You will provide strategic support to the Minister, Minister's Office and senior leadership through the preparation of briefings, correspondence and Cabinet materials. You will manage complex documentation processes, coordinate stakeholder responses and ensure all outputs meet the highest government standards.

YOU |

You are a polished communicator and strategic thinker who thrives under pressure. You have hands-on experience working with Parliament and Ministers' Offices, and a proven ability to prepare high-quality parliamentary briefing notes. You bring strong knowledge of government and Cabinet processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion. Tertiary qualifications in policy, communications or a related field are preferred, though equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
