About The Role
Band 4 – base salary from $120k per annum (plus super)
TasNetworks is looking for an Organisational Development Advisor to help deliver practical, people‑focused initiatives that build leadership capability, strengthen workforce development and support a positive, high-performance culture.
You’ll work closely with Leaders and the People Experience team to coordinate and deliver OD and L&D programs, tools and resources that help our people do their best work. This includes leadership development, performance and engagement activities, training coordination, DEI initiatives and culture‑building programs.
We’re ideally looking for someone with both OD and L&D experience, or an L&D practitioner who has worked across OD activities and wants to grow further in this space.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, building trusted relationships and turning strategy into practical, meaningful outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and deliver OD initiatives with Leaders and People Partners.
- Support leadership and culture programs through workshops and group sessions.
- Provide practical guidance to leaders and team members.
- Coordinate training delivery including scheduling, provider liaison, Jira requests and inbox management.
- Support workforce development and capability‑building initiatives.
- Gather and interpret data to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with Leaders, People Partners and external providers.
- Promote an inclusive, engaged and psychologically safe culture through everyday interactions.
About You
You’re an OD, HR or L&D professional with experience across both learning and organisational development. You enjoy helping people develop, supporting positive culture and turning ideas into practical solutions.
You communicate well, build strong relationships and manage competing priorities with ease. You’re comfortable working across both strategic and hands‑on tasks and enjoy partnering with leaders to deliver people‑focused outcomes.

You Will Also Bring
- Experience in OD, HR or L&D in a large or complex organisation
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience coordinating training and managing service requests
- Ability to support practical people and culture initiatives
- Awareness of psychosocial risks and how OD supports an inclusive, psychologically safe workplace.
- Ability to interpret information and provide recommendations
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Experience with inbox management, IT applications, and platform navigation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in OD, HR, Psychology, Education or Business (or equivalent experience)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (not essential)
