The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing work transporting woodchips from our customer site in Caboolture.
This role is an afternoon shift and can commence anywhere from 1-4pm, depending on customer requirements.
You will be delivering woodchips to customers around Southeast Queensland and will use your existing knowledge of the local roads to complete your runs efficiently and safely.
Receive training and support to grow your skill set and knowledge, operating within a well-established and hard-working driving team.
You Will
Apply appropriate load restraints to meet safety requirements
Undertake pre-start vehicle checks
Undertake a low level of manual duties
Complete occasional Intra state deliveries when required
Always work within load restraint guidelines & QLD Transport legislation
Possess the flexibility to work either AM or PM shifts to support our operational requirements
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced MC Truck driver for afternoon shifts commencing between 1 and 4pm, depending on the requirements.
You Will Have
Valid MC License and a good driving history
Previous experience operating and reversing B Doubles with local deliveries
Experience with walking floor trainers would be highly desirable (or willing to learn)
Exposure to HML loading and transportation requirements an advantage
Knowledge of Southeast Queensland roads and geography.
