Social Media Support Volunteer

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Support Volunteer to join Latin Stories Australia and support our online community engagement initiatives.

This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in digital communication, community engagement, and social impact projects. You will help maintain communication with our online audience and support activities that strengthen community participation and connection.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting communication with our online community by responding to social media messages and comments, with ongoing guidance and resources provided by the team
• Posting content provided by the team across social media platforms (no content creation required)
• Supporting the coordination and promotion of the monthly Filmoteca giveaway/sorteo
• Identifying and escalating important enquiries, feedback, or community concerns when needed
• Helping foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging online community environment

What we’re looking for

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Interest in community work and social impact initiatives
• Spanish and English language skills preferred

Commitment

3 hours per week

Duration: 3 months

Location: Remote / Online
