Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled L3/L4 Cloud (AZURE) & Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Enterprise Linux environments and deep specialization in at least one major public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). The ideal candidate will handle complex escalations, perform advanced performance analysis, and drive system and kernel-level optimizations across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L3/L4 support for Enterprise Linux systems in production environments Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, and stability issues Perform root cause analysis for recurring and high‑severity incidents Lead performance analysis and optimization for CPU, memory, disk, and network Execute Linux kernel tuning and system-level fine‑tuning Design, deploy, and support workloads on Azure/AWS/GCP Collaborate with cloud, networking, security, and application teams Support and troubleshoot hybrid and multi‑cloud infrastructures Mentor L2 engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response bridges

Required Technical Skills: Linux (Expert Level) Strong hands-on experience with: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) Advanced troubleshooting at OS and kernel level Strong understanding of: Process management, memory, storage, filesystems, and networking Experience with performance tools: top, vmstat, iostat, sar, netstat, perf, strace, tcpdump Cloud Platforms Deep expertise in one cloud platform (mandatory): Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Working knowledge of the other two cloud platforms Experience supporting production workloads in cloud environments Understanding of cloud security and shared responsibility model Performance & Kernel Tuning Strong experience in: CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network performance optimization Hands-on kernel tuning experience including: sysctl configuration Scheduler and memory tuning HugePages, swappiness, I/O tuning Cloud Networking Good knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including: VPC/VNet architecture Subnets, route tables, gateways Load balancers and DNS Security Groups / NSGs / firewall rules Ability to troubleshoot latency and connectivity issues Nice to Have Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) Container knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes) Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud-native monitoring) Experience with ITIL-based incident and problem management

Qualifications :bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 8+ years of overall IT experience (typical for L3/L4 roles) Relevant certifications are a plus: RHCE / RHCSA Azure / AWS / GCP certifications

Level Expectation L3: Independently resolve complex incidents and escalations L4: Act as a subject matter expert, lead problem management, and drive platform improvements
