The Role

As an RF / Wireless Engineer, you will join a Perth‑based consulting engagement supporting large mining organisations. You will work across the review, validation and testing of RF and wireless designs, contributing to the delivery of LTE, microwave and radio networks in operational mining environments.

This role requires Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency, strong mining experience, and the ability to work in a hybrid Perth‑based arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate technical design documentation against standards and specifications
  • Conduct RF modelling and analysis using tools such as HTZ
  • Support the design, configuration, integration, and testing of LTE, microwave and radio systems
  • Review test plans, procedures and scripts
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, SIT and commissioning activities
  • Diagnose and resolve network faults across hardware and software layers
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure robust outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong experience in RF engineering, including LTE and microwave technologies
  • Proven experience working in mining, resources or oil & gas environments
  • Hands‑on experience with Nokia LTE and microwave solutions (Cambium desirable)
  • Proficiency in RF modelling tools (HTZ preferred)
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability
  • Experience reviewing and producing design documentation
  • Strong understanding of standards compliance and engineering governance
  • Background with tier‑one mining organisations
