Satellite Communications Engineer

Hello Professionals ! We are looking for an "Satellite Communications Engineer" for one of our Federal Client based in Canberra.

1.Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in satellite communications engineering, including GEO and NGSO systems.
2.Strong understanding of RF and microwave communication systems, including design, testing, and optimisation.
3.Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing high-availability WAN services, including satellite-based connectivity solutions that ensure reliable and resilient communications across geographically dispersed locations.
4.Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including high-level designs and maintenance plans.
5.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
6.Willingness and ability to travel regularly to geographically dispersed DFAT Posts and remote locations as required for system deployment, maintenance, and support activities.

1.Experience supporting government or defence satellite communications projects at Australian Embassies or other Australian sites overseas.
2.Ability to mentor or provide technical guidance to junior engineers or field technicians.

Note : Must be an Australian Citizen. Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 2.
