A market leading head contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their growing business.

Projects will be of a multi storey residential & aged care nature up to $40m+, experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be ideal.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and complete delivery project from initiation on site through to completion. In addition, you will ensure that the high quality and profitability of the projects are maintained while financial and contractual risks are minimised.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Managing multiple projects concurrently at various stages of construction
  • Oversee financial management, planning and programming on all projects
  • Conduct regular programme and internal project audits
  • Manage dispute resolution between both clients and subcontractors
  • Review and improve construction methodologies
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Client Liaison/Management
  • You’ll be expected to travel to regional areas on the rare occasion

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction industry – a tier 1 or 2 background would be ideal
  • Must've had experience working with Revit
  • Construction Safety Induction (White) card
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Procore Software is preferable
  • Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
