AO6 Project Manager - Maryborough (WBB Region)

State Government Position | $79.17/hr + super | Immediate Start | Temp contract to July 2026

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (AO6) to join a State Government team based in Maryborough. This is a great opportunity to step into a senior role delivering impactful building and infrastructure projects across the region.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of building projects from pre-design and planning through to construction and completion. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of building and infrastructure projects

• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams

• Oversee contract administration across various delivery models

• Monitor project performance across cost, time, and quality

• Lead stakeholder engagement and negotiations

• Identify and manage project risks and variances

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and governance processes

About you

• Experience in project management within construction or infrastructure

• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar (desirable)

• Current driver’s licence
