About the Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a major enterprise transformation and ICT delivery program within a large and complex government environment.
This role will suit strategic thinkers with strong stakeholder engagement capability and extensive experience delivering business analysis outcomes across enterprise systems, digital transformation initiatives, and complex ICT projects.
You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse business needs, define future-state capabilities, improve operational processes, and support the delivery of innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
Lead business process analysis, modelling and improvement activities
Conduct gap analysis and assess solution options for future-state capabilities
Gather, validate and manage complex business and system requirements
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations
Develop business cases, functional specifications and requirements documentation
Translate business needs into clear and actionable solution requirements
Support solution design, delivery and implementation activities
Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Manage competing priorities across multiple projects and initiatives
Drive collaboration between business and technical teams
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within complex ICT environments
Strong capability in business process modelling and analysis
Experience delivering enterprise transformation or systems improvement initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
Proven ability to work across multiple concurrent projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Experience producing high-quality business and functional documentation
Ability to influence decision-making and provide strategic advice
Technical & Tooling Experience
Highly regarded experience includes:
Microsoft Visio
SharePoint
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Requirements management and process mapping tools
Enterprise ICT delivery environments
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role with opportunities available in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane. Successful candidates will initially work onsite full-time during onboarding and transition periods. Flexible working arrangements may be considered thereafter, subject to operational requirements.
