This is an opportunity to join a growing data team within a fintech environment, supporting the build and evolution of scalable analytics capability across the business.

The team is currently rebuilding reporting logic from SQL Server into dbt and Databricks as part of a broader data migration. Alongside this, they are delivering analytics solutions that support regulatory reporting, finance reporting, and operational decision-making.

They’re looking for someone who can operate hands-on technically, while also bringing commercial awareness, stakeholder confidence, and ownership across end-to-end delivery.

Where do you come in

You’re someone who enjoys being close to the technical detail, but can also work across the business to understand what good analytics needs to achieve.

You’ve likely worked across multiple projects, understand how to balance delivery with quality, and know how to translate complex logic into trusted reporting and scalable data solutions.

You’re comfortable operating in environments where accuracy matters, where reporting is relied on by senior stakeholders, and where the ability to own work end-to-end is highly valued.

What you will be doing

• Building and improving analytics and reporting solutions in a modern data environment
• Rebuilding and translating existing SQL Server reporting logic into Databricks
• Supporting regulatory and finance reporting requirements where accuracy and consistency are critical
• Owning work end-to-end, from problem definition through to delivery and stakeholder adoption
• Working across business-facing and technical conversations to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose outputs
• Helping improve trust in reporting, metrics, and broader analytics capability

What we are looking for

• Strong hands-on SQL capability and dashboarding/reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Commercial experience working in regulated financial services environments, where detail is key
• Experience with dbt and modern analytics workflows
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platform environments
• Experience delivering end-to-end analytics or reporting projects
• Ability to work across both technical delivery and stakeholder-facing conversations
• Someone who can balance technical depth with commercial awareness
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain logic, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly
