This role is ideal for a Paediatric Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical capability, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional care by demonstrating:

  • A broad paediatric skill set — confidence across a variety of paediatric procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Experience in Special Care Nursery — highly desirable for providing immediate care to neonates and supporting families from the very beginning.
  • CVAD knowledge or accreditation — an advantage that strengthens your contribution to specialised, high‑quality care.
  • Flexibility within a rotating roster — working collaboratively within a team that values adaptability and shared responsibility.
  • A commitment to exceptional paediatric nursing — bringing teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence to every shift.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Please outline your recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality, incuding any experience in special care nursery environment.
  • Please demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
  • Please give an example of your use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
