THE ROLE

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a commercially minded and people-focused Change Manager to support key transformation initiatives across our retail business.

The Change Manager will play a critical role in delivering transformation initiatives across JD Sports ANZ, ensuring successful business readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption and operational transition across stores, ecommerce and support office functions.

Working closely with Retail Operations, Technology, Digital, Finance, Merchandise and Learning & Development teams, you will lead change activities that support the implementation of new systems, operating models, processes and customer experiences.

This role requires someone who can balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery, while operating effectively in a fast-paced retail environment where priorities can evolve quickly. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing and delivering end-to-end change management strategies aligned to transformation programs and business objectives
  • Conducting change impact assessments across retail stores, support office and operational teams
  • Leading stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, town halls and feedback sessions
  • Partnering with senior leaders to drive alignment, sponsorship and adoption across the business
  • Supporting go-live planning, transition activities and hypercare periods
  • Developing communication plans, user guides, FAQs and operational support materials
  • Partnering with Learning & Development teams to coordinate training strategies and rollout plans
  • Monitoring business readiness, adoption metrics and implementation effectiveness
  • Identifying resistance points and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise operational disruption
  • Supporting governance forums, reporting requirements and project milestone tracking

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years’ experience in Change Management within retail, digital, transformation or operational environments
  • Experience supporting system implementations such as POS, ERP, WMS, OMS, ecommerce or workforce management platforms
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across both frontline and corporate teams
  • Experience supporting large-scale operational or organisational change within fast-paced environments
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity with a calm and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong facilitation, communication and engagement capability
  • Experience working closely with Retail Operations and frontline workforce teams highly regarded
  • Change Management certification (Prosci / ADKAR) desirable
