ILS Officer

About The Role

We're partnering with a Defence organisation delivering critical capability and sustainment programs, and they're looking to add an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to their Canberra-based team.

This role will see you working across engineering, procurement, cyber, asset management, and operational teams to support logistics and sustainment activities across multiple product lines. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a Defence environment and can confidently manage stakeholders, priorities, and support processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of ILS and sustainment activities across Defence programs
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and support teams to maintain logistics outcomes
• Maintain and improve ILS documentation, procedures, and support records
• Monitor procurement and workflow activities to ensure tasks remain on track
• Participate in change boards, product reviews, and support planning activities
• Identify risks, issues, and process improvement opportunities
• Provide day-to-day support and guidance across project stakeholders

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience within Defence logistics, sustainment, or ILS environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience supporting ILS documentation and Defence support frameworks
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Understanding of Defence logistics and procurement processes
• Degree qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, ICT, Commerce, or similar
• Project Management certification
• Australian Citizen eligible for or holding NV1 Clearance
• SAFe certification, or willingness to obtain
