Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, our FP&A Manager leads forecasting, financial planning, commercial analysis and strategic business partnering across the organisation.
This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely insights that support decision making, drive clarity on business performance and help translate strategy into action in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you’ll support critical planning cycles, enterprise-wide forecasting and high-quality reporting that enables informed commercial decisions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR FP&A MANAGER
- Key Business Partner in developing our 3-year strategic Market Planning Cycle
- Works closely with XLT to compile the Annual Operating Plan & Quarterly Forecasts which are consolidated to Global HQ. You will be the key custodian of complex excel based planning models
- Prepares periodic performance updates for Leadership Team discussion, providing insights and actions that will drive delivery of Plan
- Forecasts and plans for the Equity P&L in Australia, with the input from Equity Finance and Senior Operations leaders
- Forecasts, plans and analyses Franchise P&L components across Australia and New Zealand
- Drive cross-functional projects, generating insights that influence and enhance business performance that delivers strategy to action
- Assume ownership of key Finance responsibilities post Project Modernisation
- Partnership with outsourced Shared Service Centre to interpret business results & support efficiency
- Assists in driving the AOP strategy to action throughout the year
- Assists in ad hoc financial analysis indicated by FP&A leaders
ABOUT YOU
You’ll bring experience in:
- Financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis within a large or complex business environment
- Financial modelling, scenario planning and analytical problem solving
- Translating financial data into clear insights and practical business recommendations
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support decision making and performance outcomes
- Multinational, matrix or operationally complex business environments (highly regarded)
- Operational finance, P&L management and performance reporting within retail, hospitality, QSR, FMCG or similar industries
- Improving planning processes or ways of working to support business effectiveness
- Building strong relationships and working collaboratively across finance and non-finance teams
You’ll also bring:
- CA/CPA qualification, with relevant post-qualification experience
