About the role

Provide strategic ownership of the organisation’s integration platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.

• Deep understanding of integration architecture, including frameworks, patterns, standards, and reference models; and best practices, including API design, error handling, versioning, reusability and performance optimisation.
• Proficient in designing and implementing integration platforms using Azure Integration Services (iPaaS), including Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Service Queue, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage, to connect internal and external systems.
• Proficient in API design, configuration, and management using Azure APIM, adhering to RESTful API standards (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI), versioning, security, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in the application of theoretical methods in the search for solutions to new problems and opportunities which may extend beyond the field of expertise.

Key selection Criteria

1. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field with relevant experience plus post graduate qualifications, or lesser formal qualifications with extensive and diverse experience, or intensive specialist experience, as an Integration Lead, engineer or developer.
2. Demonstrated expertise in architecting and actualizing integration solutions alongside business process automation, employing esteemed project delivery methodologies like PMBOK, Agile, and DevOps
3. Proven experience in management of support functions and ability to perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis across systems, including working with external and internal customers/stakeholders/vendors.
4. Experience supporting establishment and implementation of best practices with regard to configuration, development, testing, data integrity and data security within the Integration Platforms.
