The Role

Brisbane Roar FC are recruiting a Full-Time Performance Analyst to join our Football Department.

This is an opportunity to help build and shape a modern, progressive football environment within one of Australia's biggest clubs.

The Performance Analyst will work closely with the A-League Men's coaching, performance and B-Team staff to support decision-making and drive daily standards across the football programme.

You will be tasked with contributing across:

  • Match analysis
  • Training analysis
  • Opposition analysis
  • Individual player development
  • Data integration and reporting
  • Club-wide football alignment

What We're Looking For

  • Strong tactical understanding of football
  • Expertise in performance analysis and data analytics
  • Experience with modern analysis software and workflows
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting insights and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Understanding of finance principles as they relate to performance and data-driven decision making
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Eligibility to work in Australia

Preferred

  • Tertiary qualifications in Sports Science, Data Analytics or related fields
  • Proficiency with performance analysis software and tools
  • Passion for football and familiarity with the A-League

Experience within professional football is preferred, but attitude, curiosity and alignment with our vision are equally important.
