We’re partnering exclusively with a global structured finance and investment business operating across complex transactions, debt products and institutional investment structures.

As part of continued growth, the business is seeking a Group Legal Counsel to join the leadership team and support across transaction structuring, investor documentation, structured financial products and commercial agreements.

This is a role that sits close to deal execution and commercial decision-making, offering exposure to how sophisticated financial products and transactions are structured, documented and brought to market.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the structuring and execution of wholesale financial services transactions and investment products
  • Drafting and refining Information Memorandums, offering materials and investor documentation
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, transaction documentation and platform arrangements
  • Supporting legal aspects of debt products, structured transactions and institutional investment structures
  • Advising across governance, regulatory and commercial matters relevant to complex financial products
  • Translating transaction structures and commercial terms into clear, legally robust documentation
  • Working closely with leadership and stakeholders across legal, commercial and investment functions

About you

  • 8+ years’ PQE with experience in Banking & Finance, Structured Finance, Securitisation or Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
  • Background from a top-tier law firm or sophisticated in-house financial services environment
  • Exposure to structured transactions, debt products, investor documentation or institutional financial products
  • Strong technical capability combined with a commercial and pragmatic mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment with close proximity to leadership
