Level Up Collective are proud to be partnering with Melbourne Park to find a People Systems & Data Specialist who will play a critical role in enabling seamless people systems, high-quality data, and smarter workforce decisions across this dynamic environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on and impactful role where you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s people systems ecosystem and data capability. Working across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to workforce management, performance and exit -you’ll ensure systems are optimised, processes are connected, and data is trusted, accessible an - meaningful.
You’ll act as a key connector across People & Culture, Technology and Payroll, ensuring systems integrate effectively and deliver a seamless user experience. Just as importantly, you’ll bring data to life - translating insights into practical actions that support better decision-making across the business. This is a role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving how things work, and building systems and insights that truly add value.
Key Focus Areas
People Systems Operations & Optimisation
- Manage and optimise the day-to-day performance of people systems to ensure reliability and effectiveness
- Support system configuration, workflows, upgrades and enhancements
- Troubleshoot issues and act as a central point of coordination across teams
- Build user capability and improve system adoption across the business
End-to-End Process Integration & Improvement
- Ensure people processes are streamlined, connected and aligned across the employee lifecycle
- Identify inefficiencies, duplication or gaps and implement practical improvements
- Maintain clear process maps and workflows that support consistency and compliance
- Continuously evolve processes as systems and business needs change
People Data, Reporting & Insights
- Maintain high-quality, accurate and well-governed people data
- Develop reporting and dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions
- Translate workforce data into clear, actionable insights for different audiences
- Support workforce planning through trend analysis and forecasting
Systems Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems and processes operate cohesively
- Contribute to governance, prioritisation and delivery of system enhancements
- Identify and drive ongoing improvements across systems, data and processes
- Promote consistent, effective use of systems across the organisation
About You
You’re a systems-savvy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, data and people. You bring a strong understanding of how people systems support the employee lifecycle, and you’re confident navigating complexity, improving processes and turning data into insights.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience working with HRIS’s, workforce management, LMS’s and payroll platforms (we're using Cornerstone, Humanforce and Momentus to name a few!)
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights
- Experience building reports and dashboards (e.g. Excel, Power BI or similar tools)
- A passion for improving processes and driving efficiency across systems and workflows
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills and the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
