ServiceNow Architect / Functional Lead (Contract) – Melbourne

We are partnering with a leading organisation currently part-way through a ServiceNow implementation who require an experienced ServiceNow Architect / Functional Lead to stabilise, optimise, and guide the next phase of their program.

With several modules already live and limited internal technical expertise, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the program delivers maximum value, addresses current challenges, and sets the business up for a successful transition into AMS support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and architectural leadership across the ServiceNow platform

• Review current implementation and identify gaps, risks, and optimisation opportunities

• Advise on best practice use of ServiceNow functionality, ensuring alignment to business needs

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

• Support post go-live stabilisation, ensuring issues are resolved effectively

• Define and guide the handover to AMS, ensuring long-term sustainability

Key Experience

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Functional Lead on complex implementations

• Strong, broad knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, EAM, and FSM

• Experience reviewing and enhancing in-flight or partially delivered ServiceNow programs

• Ability to operate in an advisory and stakeholder-facing capacity

• Strong understanding of platform governance, design standards, and best practice
