This role will suit an experienced Compliance Officer who is results-oriented and enjoys working in a fast paced environment to maintain AFSL and ensure ongoing compliance and regulatory requirements nationally.
Your new role
- Ensure ongoing compliance with AFSL obligations, including licence conditions, breach reporting, and Corporations Act requirements.
- Act as the designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer, overseeing the effectiveness and maintenance of the AML/CTF Program.
- Develop and maintain AML/CTF risk assessment frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate business risks.
- Prepare regular compliance and risk reports for senior management and the Board.
- Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and controls across the business.
- Ensure all AUSTRAC reporting obligations are accurately met, including SMRs, TTRs, IFTIs, and Compliance Reports.
- Manage all regulatory reporting requirements across AML/CTF and AFSL frameworks.
- Manage all AUSTRAC reporting obligations, including SMRs, TTRs, IFTIs, and Compliance Reports.
- Oversee dispute resolution processes and AFCA complaints, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Your Experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in compliance and maintaining AFSL obligations
- Previous experience in fintech or alternative payment schemes
- Exceptional communication and negotation skills
- ACAMS or similar qualifications highly regarded
