Rates: $1100/day inclusive of Super

Your new role

The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to act as a trusted extension of the program leadership team, owning and driving day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of Cyber Security initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Cyber Security projects within a run/delivery function
• Drive day-to-day project execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
• Coordinate and work closely with technical teams, engineers, and external vendors
• Maintain visibility of delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate stand-ups, working sessions, and delivery forums (no SteerCo ownership required)
• Ensure alignment between technical execution and program-level objectives
• Act as the key delivery lead, escalating risks and blockers appropriately.
• Focused purely on delivery execution (not governance-heavy)
• No responsibility for SteerCo, budget management, or government reporting – managed at program level
• Operates as a senior delivery driver and right-hand to the Program Lead

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a mid-to-senior level Project Manager in complex delivery environments
• Strong track record delivering technology or Cyber Security projects
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors
• Ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Exposure to Cyber Security projects or programs
• Background in Applications and/or Infrastructure delivery
• Prior experience in an engineering or technical role (highly regarded)
• Experience within the Utilities sector (nice to have).
• A hands-on, delivery-first Project Manager who can “own the engine room”
• Comfortable operating without heavy governance structures
• Strong communicator who can translate between technical teams and program leadership
• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and highly accountable
